Southern landscapes are characterised by their vegetation. The greenish chlorite of olive trees, pines and cypresses as well as herbs such as rosemary, thyme and sage dominate the colour palette. Depending on the season, the colours of the most diverse flowers such as broom, poppies or lavender are added. The sky is often deep blue. The landscape is sometimes slightly hilly, but there are also mountains as well as mountain ranges and landscapes by the sea. Here there are fascinating views of sandy beaches and shimmering blue seawater. One of the works depicts a typical scene in the Camargue with grazing black bulls and white horses. Southern landscapes are enduringly and repeatedly enchanting with their Mediterranean charm. Details on the condition of the works and further photos on request.
